You'd think so, but no. Seriously, that is the setting that I use.
And yes, I do use the sec to serve up most of the public content.
Hold on now. Using the SEC in isolation to serve up read-only content
is NOT "using the SEC".
er.extensions.ERXEC.useSharedEditingContext=true is using the SEC.
Everyone knows that this is easy to use and bug free!
Those in the know, know.
