Hi Gustavo,

You don't *have* to install mod_WebObjects.so on your developer
machine - it's only required if you use Apache when developing. If you
use direct connect you won't need it (I don't think) but in general
you *shouldn't* develop with direct connect enabled (some people might
even say that direct connect is evil...)

Some more information is available in the wiki about developing with Apache:

http://wiki.objectstyle.org/confluence/display/WO/Development+Tools-Running+Through+Apache

Also why developing with Direct Connect is Evil:

http://wiki.objectstyle.org/confluence/display/WO/Web+Applications-Development-Direct+Connect

When 5.4.3 is installed it will put the adaptors in:

/System/Library/WebObjects/Adaptors/Apache2.2

you then need to replace the mod_WebObjects there with one compiled
for Snow Leopard which you can download from:

http://webobjects.mdimension.com/wonder/mod_WebObjects/Apache2.2/macosx/10.6/mod_WebObjects.so

The configuration file is apache.conf and should be included in your
Apache httpd.conf file. More info about setting up Apache can be found
in the wiki usng the link above.

Cheers,

John

Well, I guess deploying will be the same, as far I hadn't have any troubles, just I had't change the adaptor thing I don't get it still the URL says
"cgi- ..." and I read that it's dangerous that one.
