OK, I see the reaper Thread logic now .... and since restart is hard- coded to false, then I guess it does kill connections if free after a time limit .... default is 600 seconds. The reaper thread runs the reap logic every 20 seconds or so....... ok, I will give the connection broker a try ...... I think it is definitely suited to the nature of this app.
