The correct mail list is:

Apple Web Dev list <[email protected]>

take also a look at safari dev center

http://developer.apple.com/safari/

As Don said some there are some problems, take a look as these page are
rendered on both Safari on Mac and iPhone

http://developer.apple.com/mac/library/documentation/Cocoa/Conceptual/ObjCTutorial/01Introduction/01Introduction.html

http://store.apple.com/it/configure/MB535T/A?mco=MTM3ODA4NDk

Due to the fact iPhone screen is small compared to a desktop screen, is not
really good to get space even smaller with fixed blocks, you can create custom
stylesheets based on device

you can wind a lot of docs here

http://developer.apple.com/safari/library/documentation/AppleApplications/Reference/SafariWebContent/OptimizingforSafarioniPhone/OptimizingforSafarioniPhone.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40006517-SW1

You can also handle gestures, you can trigger a "toolbar" to show when user
slide two finger from bottom to top ( just as example )

Amedeo
