What a bummer. Is there a list of "This works and this doesn't"

Thanks for the reply and direction on services.

Does anything about Direct to WebServices work in 5.4 and Eclipse?
Given that this relied on the Apple WO tools previously installed
with Xcode but subsequently deprecated/removed... I don't think D2WS
works, but having never used D2WS I couldn't be certain.
or is there a better and easy way to accomplish basic services?
Manually creating WS stuff ain't too hard. You might want to have a
look at the example code to start off (usually installed in /
Developer/Examples/JavaWebObjects) and the guide (now on the legacy
docs pages)
