Just realized that wolips in C:\Documents and Settings\<User name>\Application data\WOLips is created when I run Eclipse again. However, as specified in build.xml, Eclipse picks up the changes of wolips in C:\Documents and Settings\<User name>\Library\Application data\WOLips.
Any reason as to why two copies of wolips are kept?

Hi Frank

You will just need to have one wolips.properties file. The one in ..\Library\.. should be used. I have been confused with these and just decided to just keep one in Library directory.

Cheers

Subject: Wolips.properties: 2 files

Hi list,

after Installing wolips on a clean windows xp (Eclipse 3.4.2, Wolips 3.4.5830) and after carefully
following chucks advice for the properties file
(<http://wiki.objectstyle.org/confluence/display/WOL/wolips.properties> ),
we encountered the following symptoms:

+ ant compile fails and complaints about missing WO-Frameworks
+ WO Frameworks have to be added as normal java jars, the list
 of WO-Frameworks-Libraries was empty.

We found that wolips.properties exists twice on the machine. Both have to be correct!
On a german system the paths are:

C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\<USERNAME>\Library\Application Support\WOLips\wolips.properties
and
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\<USERNAME>\Anwendungsdaten\WOLips\wolips.properties
Note that this path is hidden on a default XP-Install.
In english this is, I guess, c:\documents and settings\<username>\application data\WOLips\wolips.properties

Similar behaviour in Windows 7 .The second path on Windows 7 is
"C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\WOLips\wolips.properties"

We used the Installer from Don Lindesay. Obviously this tool creates a environment-variable NEXT_ROOT which contains double-quotes. IMHO they have to be removed, they cause the trouble. WOLips seems to create the "second" wolips.properties-file based on NEXT_ROOT
on startup.
