Ok, I wanted to announce it later, but since we are talking about where the
community should go, let's make a small announcement.
On wocommunity.org, you can create your personal profile, your organization
profile and add WO projects :
http://wocommunity.org/community.html
The "Projects" page is a listing of projects related to WO, either open source
or closed source but free. It can be tutorials, frameworks, etc. I will add RSS
feeds for those pages later.
We also have services.wocommunity.org. That machine (CentOS box running on top
of Xen) offers the following services : SVN repositories, Hudson builds and
JavaMonitor/wotaskd to run sample apps. So far, the only thing we build on this
machine is the USWebObjects framework from Mr. Iceland. The plan is to install
the Wonder demos automatically each day, and to apply patches so that people
can download patched versions of Wonder.
You can use any services on services.wocommunity.org for your open source
projects. So for example, if you have an open source framework hosted on Google
Code, you can use Hudson on services.wocom to offer builds of your framework.
If you have a demo app on top of your framework, you can deploy it so that
people can try it.
