I was using 9.0 with ERDatabaseAttachments, with pdfs and png thumbnails. All the attachments would be stored correctly and then sporadically, they all became corrupted simultaneously. The byte counts looked about right, but the columns were junk. I reverted to File Attachments, and did not investigate further.
