Hmmm Sounds like too much work. One thing I have learned about WebObjects is that if you are fighting something, you are doing it wrong.
Maybe I will jettison this approach... hey I get to right my wrongs with this legacy app. And try "spawning" a pure D2W area of the app for just the reporting.
