you can program your D2W against whatever logic you can find in your context - 

so, for instance, it's not hard to identify horizontal entity inheritance even 
when you might share a class name and identify only by a number on some 
property somewhere.

people sometimes don't realize you can walk through your model attributes and 
every part of your entities and their properties and really make use of 
anything you can reach in dot notation inside your rules.

In some cases, I've found a few low level rules based on a tiny bit of 
information on the model can do wonders for these types of situations.

make a smart tab component that reads what it needs...you might be able to get 
your tab information right from your model.

maybe that helps with ideas a bit...
