Hi guys, Since I have people asking me for deployment help every month, I said to myself: it should be easier and faster to install a deployment environment (even if that means losing business for me)! So I created a RPM package for wotaskd:
http://packages.wocommunity.org/CentOS/5/noarch/ It worked for both CentOS 5 and 6, and it should work with RedHat 5 and 6, and Amazon Linux. If someone can try it out, please do so and report any problem. It will install the proper structure in /opt/Local/Library, install the init.d script and launch wotaskd. Erasing the package will stop wotaskd and remove the init script, but it won't remove wotaskd (I do think it should remove wotaskd, but keep the configuration file, I would like your input on this). I'm planning to add a package for Monitor and another for the HTTP adaptor, and creating a Yum repository, but I will wait for your input on the wotaskd package before doing that. _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
