For a start you can go to www.kataputt.com and download the introductory 
chapter to my coming soon (C) all new WebObjects Introduction book Learning The 
Wonders. The introduction covers the whole setting up of a development 
environment on Mac OS X and Windows 7 up to your first Hello World program.

As others have already mentioned, keep your hands off mixing Java with 
Objective-C.
