I can't imagine a DVD being worth much since it would low res everything down to VGA. Squinting at the screencasts are tough enough with compression artifacts on the text at regular resolution. Plus all the time recompressing and burning... yick.
Just put the files on a microSD card. Then everyone can watch them on their computer/tablet/phone.
