i set in my properties file: log4j.logger.er=DEBUG
and the program stalls with no error while executing the next() method in ERJRFoundationDataSource. I added NSLog statements just to see if I could determine what the issue was and to be honest, it appears as if this method doesn't really do anything. I will keep hacking and see if I can figure it out. I really don't understand as the app works the first time then fails on the second time. I didn't see this problem until I installed the app on my test server. there is no way to restart the app on the server. I must reboot. if I tried to stop the instance, I get an error that there is no instance. ouch.
