Ramsey,

is there any known reason for ERCoreBl not being properly initialized? No
runtime errors but it seems the finishInitialization method is never called.

I had ERCoreBussinessLogic running in this project and I made the obvious code
refactoring to adapt to ERCoreBL.
In didFinishLaunching() - Application class, for example:
ERCoreBL.sharedInstance().addPreferenceRelationshipToActorEntity(PessoaFisica.ENTITY_NAME);

Anything am I missing?

Bests!
