At least, we have tried again the same operation (changing and saving a couple 
of attributes of the „non-existing“ object) even without logging SQL. It did 
run smoothly this time, without any problem; no exception has been reported and 
the save was performed.

That's the same behaviour as before: the weird bug have occurred once, and then 
the object was used again without a glitch.
