There are probably only so many ways to do it right, so after they have exhausted doing it wrong you end up with a familiar pattern. One thing that I find amusing after years of how fantastic JS is because it has no types, that there is now so much interest in stronger typing. This whole industry is just a pendulum endlessly swinging from side to side and back again. CORBA was the cure, then it wasn't. Now micro services are the cure.
