Thanks a lot for your answers. I feel more confident now.

I had just fired Eclipse to start work on this project. Luckily (or not), my 
team is comprised of me, myself and I. So, I am really interested in using 
whatever frameworks/classes that will make my life easier in the long run.

I intend on using ERAuth and ERUser for this project anyways, so I am not sure 
why I even asked. I took a good look at ERUserPreferences and this also looks 
great. I am pretty excited about the loads of work I WON’T have to do! ;)
