I wouldn't say that at all.  I had my share of problems ordering from
Apple's site right after MacWorld.  Stressing a site like that hurts most
sites... unless they are prepared ;-)

That could be a number of things, from bandwidth, application server,
hardware, etc. that can cause those kind of problems.  I agree that it is
frustrating though.

I'd have like to seen that too, but I generally find the sites that I have
done are MUCH better than any example out there.  Write your own (or wait
until I get a chance to) and share it with the community.  Or check out
<http://www.running-start.com/> for their commerce solution.
