Guys,

Is it me or is the new project builder replete with problems?

So far today, 1) I've had one project fail to compile (I clicked the
build button and it would start the build process, but would not continue
and just sat there. I stopped the build and tried again to no avail. I was
forced to quit the app and restart to get the build to work), 2) I had the
app go off into never never land when searching for '+ (NSDictionary
*)prefetchHints' with ignore case off and whole word off (the apps memory
usage, before I killed it had ballooned from ~ 10megs to over 60 megs, all in
the space of about 20 seconds), 3) the save panel, accessible by typing,
'cntrl-shift-q' still has no first responder set, so you are forced to click
the 'Save' button rather than being able to navigate to this from the
keyboard, 4) after setting a color preference using the color picker, the
Preferences panel gets ordered out (it looks like it disappears, but it's
actually getting pushed behind your open project), 5) pop up menus (or at
least the ones in the find panel) no longer show a dotted line around them
when they are the first responder ...

Is this normal? I've been using this for less than 2 hours and all
I'm doing is compiling. I'm not really using PB at all as an editor yet. Am
I in store for more problems? Has PB on NT just always been this
problematic? I found it to be quite reliable on Mach.

Regards,
Paul
