BTW: I would recommend creating a table dedicated to just the BLOB type
with a FK/PK (to-one) relationship from the Main table to the Dependent
table. that way you can at least fetch distinctly on the main table.
Oracle won't allow distinct fetches on tables with BLOBs in them
