That's kind of what I have in mind.
In one of my little projects I have a need for uploading PDF files and
making it really easy to end users. I will be exploring AppleScript as
a possible solution with WebObjects on the server side.
The idea is to have a folder with some AppleScript attached to it and
allow users to drag documents into them and have the AppleScript upload
the file to the server side. I would also like to maybe convert Word
and other formats to PDF and then uploading both versions. The PDF
version would be used for viewing the document on the web and the
original version for editing, in case a change needs to be done later.
