When you install GNOME, make sure that you upgrade the RPM's even if you
have some of them installed previously (--force). I think that they are
linked against newer versions of certain libraries or something, even if
they have the same name and version number (that helps for me). You must
also install _all_ the development RPM's
Be aware that gnobex is a little bit behind the rest of the OBEX
development. I have started to upgrade it, but there are still some things
to do. Please use the command line tools instead: irobex/irobex_test and
irobex_palm3 (works even if you are not using a palm III :-)

e Mac OS X Server running on an iMac. It's unsupported, but so
far it's pretty sweet. When you run the installation program you have
to select the 'Configurations' menu where there is an option to
install on unsupported machines. I doubt I would risk buying one for
this purpose, but so far I plan to leave it on there.
I couldn't find any of the adaptors including ODBC in
/System/Library/Frameworks. I'm pretty sure I did a full install.
OpenBase was in /Local/Library/Frameworks.
