Sybase Error: Cann not make EOFault with a class instance smaller than 8 bytes

Hi All:

  I am getting the following error:


  *** EOFault +makeObjectIntoFault:withHandler: cannot create a fault 
for 
  a class Organization because its instances are smaller than 8 bytes




   And I guess It is talking about the varChar type field with a length 
of 
  1. Is there any work around to this? Is not there any way to use 1 
char 
  length in the Sybase table fields for WebObjects.
