RE: NT Workstation 4.0, SP3, WOF 3.51
Hey guys,
Sorry to clutter the list with this garbage, but I hope I've
answered enough ?s that I've earned the right to ask a stupid one.
I haven't set up an NT workstation machine for demos since WOF 3.0
days (we do all of our demos with the webserver running on mach). At that
time, I had installed the netscape server. Currently, I'm using the
Microsoft Peer webservices as my server. I have verified that I can hit the
web server both locally and remotely (I get the Peer Web Services home page).
I've also gone through the trouble shooting section and verified that all
the files from the install are in their proper places. However, I cannot
seem to get any apps to run. I've tried manually starting the WODefaultApp,
and, though it comes up and says that it is waiting for requests, I keep
getting errors. Here are some of the ones I get.
When launching WODefaultApp:
HTTP/1.0 404 Object Not Found (URL is
http://localhost/cgi-bin/WebObjects.exe/Executables)
When trying to access the HelloWorld for NT from the WOHomePage:
HTTP/1.0 403 Access Forbidden (Read Access Denied - This Virtual Directory
does not allow objects to be read.)
What have I done wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
