fetching only the main table..

Hi all,

In my eomodel I have a main table and this has many-to-many and 
one-to-many relations all over.
Evertime I fetch the main table It generates the sql that will also 
fetch from the relations. Is there any way just to specify which 
relations to fetch which ones not to fetch, and sometimes to fetch only 
the main table leaving all relations untouched.
I used  setIsDeep with FetchSpecification, that does not seem to work.
