Is your database file is called "testDB" without any extension (like
"testDB.db")?
Do you really call your table "table.A" and the field "field.B"? The
dot "." is generally used when you have multiple tables.
SELECT fizz.id, buzz.id FROM fizz, buzz;
Is the actually performed SQL request (_test=True) the one you want?

Check with _test=True is it's the SQL query you're actually trying to perform.
