Nice. I don't want to steal anyone's thunder, but I took a weekend to
play with GAE and wrote a simple blog engine, too. I wanted to code as
little as possible, so I haven't implemented my own authentication/
login routine and I'm using Google's instead, and Disqus for the
comments.

Also, I'm not using web.py's  template system. I'm using GAE for that
too, meaning it's Django templates.

. By the way, I added the GAE templates system to web.contrib.render.
Does some have any interested in adding that to the main tree?
