Hello all. The following issue is not strictly related to web.py, but may be some of you will have an idea.
I am developing browser based desktop-like application and using web.py as my web server. Right now, the server and the client should run on the same machine. As an input to my application, the user should specify few files, the server should proceed. For many reasons, I could not copy (upload) the files to the server. I am looking for functionality similar to <input type="file"/> tag, but instead of uploading a file or returning its partial name, I need to get full file path. >From what I saw on the web, I cant tweak the tag, via JavaScript. Can you advice on an alternative? It almost impossible to use my application, without this "convenience" functionality. Thanks. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "web.py" group.
