Hi, I'm going to start working on a skeleton user auth system for the super-easy to cluster, key-value database Riak http://wiki.basho.com/display/RIAK/Riak
Here is an analysis by a Mozilla team I found quite interesting: http://blog.mozilla.com/data/2010/05/18/riak-and-cassandra-and-hbase-oh-my/ I saw the post mentioning MongoDB, which seems like a GREAT choice for storing short term session data. But perhaps not the best choice for ALSO storing the long term, persistant user data. I'm rather fearful of the possibility of data corruption and the frequency a "repair" command was mentioned in the Mongo docs. If anyone else is investigating Riak or has started a similar project let me know. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "web.py" group.
