Your index.html should have raised an IndentationError.... at least that's
what happens to me.
try the following code, it works for me... i just removed blank lines after
the $if and $else statements
$def with (greeting)
<html>
<head>
<title>Gothons of Planet Percal #25</title>
</head>
<body>
$if greeting:
I just wanted to say <em style="color: green; font-size: 2em;">
greeting</em>.
$else:
<em>Hello</em>, world!
</body>
</html>
