I have had very good experience with dedicated WSGI servers like
CherryPy and Bjoern. The latter proved extremely easy to deploy with a
reverse proxy like nginx. On one machine I had 3 apps running (one
handling image uploads, and another two identical ones load-balanced by
nginx). The reason for 2 identical apps + load balancing is because
bjoern runs as a non-blocking event-loop (single CPU thread) so I could
employ more cores by running more instances.
