I have had very good experience with dedicated WSGI servers like CherryPy and Bjoern. The latter proved extremely easy to deploy with a reverse proxy like nginx. On one machine I had 3 apps running (one handling image uploads, and another two identical ones load-balanced by nginx). The reason for 2 identical apps + load balancing is because bjoern runs as a non-blocking event-loop (single CPU thread) so I could employ more cores by running more instances. -- Branko Vukelic [email protected] [email protected] IDEA MACHINE www.brankovukelic.com Lead Developer Herd Hound (tm) - Travel that doesn't bite www.herdhound.com Love coffee?
