My feeling is that these problems must be caused by a bug in
the software which interfaces email to the Internettrash
user database.
It is unlikely to be in the database management software, as
*all* Internettrash users are in it, and a bug would soon be
noticed. But only a minority of users upload by email, so
any difficulties we encounter have very low priority for the
support staff.
The lesson from this, and previous experiences, is that
email access problems can sometimes be fixed by just one web
upload.
