Hi!

----

A few days ago a set of Sun NAT servers (including sca-ea-fw-1.Sun.COM,
IPv4=192.18.43.225) fell victim to an automated kline (some kind of
"ban") at the freenode.net IRC network (which is used by opensolaris.org
for the #opensolaris, #dtrace, #caiman* etc. channels).
After resolving the issue via some emails I'm wondering whether there is
a way to prevent another incident like that via adding all the Sun NAT
servers to some kind of "whitelist" which prevents the freenote
anti-spam/-abuse/etc. bots from taking any (automated (which means if
the wrath of any IRC operators results in a manual kline then this may
happen again)) action against the Sun machines.

What we now need is a list with the following information:
- List of IP addresses (IPv4 and IPv6) of the Sun NAT servers
- Hostnames per IP address
- Email address of an admin per machine who can take action if users
behind the NAT start to misbehave in some way (please no
helpdesk/bots/etc. - real people would be preferred)

Is it somehow possible to get such a list ?

Bye,
Roland
