The current setup has a very high threshold at the SpamAssassin level and discards those, then allows list owners to fine tune below that. For the ratings that we've seen for the last 4 weeks, a setting of "discard higher than 5" would catch 85% of the spam and have one false positive a month for a list like website discuss. A setting of "discard higher than 9", which is what we have set it to, basically gets rid of the really egregious cases of spam without ever having a false positive.
