Backing up a bit... First, I think the prevailing wisdom here is to perform at least a basic requirements analysis (for replacing Jive). I'm willing to drive or co-drive that... Anyone want to help? First task would be to come up with a requirements procedure/template/model to follow. I vote for a really light-weight one. Regarding post-requirements evaluations, I've been researching the features of the current Mailman 3.0 development -- which puts a big emphasis on providing forum capabilities (modern threaded views, browser-based replying/posting, etc.) So I'll be offering that as one of the candidates to hold up to the results of the requirements analysis.
