I have asked for this to be fixed several times, the hook can work
around it, but it needs someone able to edit one of the scripts in
onnv-gate/public to be done properly.

The tag is forced to use 'daemon', it should be forced to the
gatekeeper's real username.

Stephen, if you could ask the right people it'd probably work better
than me asking them, again.
