I've already told the OGB that in my personal opinion the vote was invalid. It is difficult for me to ask the OGB to disband a Community Group that in my opinion doesn't have any existence anyway. I can't and don't speak for the other Website Project members, but personally I feel the OGB has disregarded both due process and common courtesy by heavily amending the proposal without giving the affected Project a chance to participate in the process. At the very least the OGB should have offered the Website Project the option of remaining as a Project, rather than becoming a CG under the terms imposed by the OGB. As it is, the scope of the proposed CG has been so reduced by the OGB that I doubt it any longer warrants CG status. The leaders of the Website Project are currently discussing this issue, and once we have an agreed decision we will inform the OGB. -- Alan Burlison -- _______________________________________________ website-discuss mailing list [email protected]
