Hi, note that I am not subscribed to this list, so please keep me on cc:.
Is there a reason why we don't allow all OpenOffice/StarOffice file type formats as attachments for pages on opensolaris.org? We have a fun contribution within the HA Clusters community group, see http://opensolaris.org/os/community/ha-clusters/Fun/ which provides an OpenOffice/StarOffice calc sheet in order to implement an Acrostic Puzzle (check the website if you don't know what that is ;). As a workaround I did add the file compressed with bzip2 - but this adds an ugly additional step in order to view the document - instead of the browser being able to recognize the file type and starting StarOffice/OpenOffice, the user now needs to save it and then uncompress first. Please let me know if you can consider adding the ods (and maybe also odp for presentations) file type, and if so, when you implemented it, so I can amend the page to reflect that.
