Hi, I came across the "Call for Help" on the front page of cr.opensolaris.org at the weekend, and would like to offer to assist with any system maintenance and - maybe - coding tasks that might be needed.
My day job is as a Solaris sys admin, so that pretty much covers system maintenance. If Perl is acceptable for the (website) coding tasks then I'd be happy to give them a go too. (Providing RSS feeds of code reviews sounds particulaly fun to setup.) I've been following OpenSolaris.org since it launched, and going to the London OpenSolaris User Group meetings for a while now, but haven't felt able to get involved online before as I'm not a kernel programmer. This finally sounds like a great way I can help out! I'd be happy to provide personal details on request. I may also be able to provide references from within Sun (though it's been a couple of years now, so they may have moved on).
