My thanks to Alan for reworking the Website CG proposal and to Jim for moving the process forward.
Michelle Olson will be finishing the proposal and floating it on website-discuss later this week to start the 14-day comment period. While that is happening, my team has been given a specific task associated with the upcoming May launch. A splash page will be created in front of the front page to direct people to primary points of interest. Such a page will help ensure that the many new visitors expected around the launch will find information quickly and easily. It will also prevent the need to completely rework the site just yet. Michelle will be leading this work within the existing Website Project and she will be sending email with details.
