Hmm. I don't know if we did that deliberately or not. But as you (John) point out in later email, now that those links are there, I guess there's not much point in mangling them elsewhere on the site. The one mechanism I know of to bypass the mangler is documented at http://blogs.sun.com/kupfer/entry/defeating_the_opensolaris_address_mangler.
