Hey, I've been working on writing a code of conduct for the OpenSolaris community
http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=2181 as a proposal for a set of guidelines that we all may adopt in our day to day work in the community, whether that is through mailing lists, online forums, IRC discussion, or face to face meetings. During our discussion at the latest OGB meeting, Jim suggested that this should not be a separate document, and could be merged into the existing About OpenSolaris page http://www.opensolaris.org/os/about/ I think this is a good idea, and it feels like this is an excellent opportunity to rework it, not just to accurately reflect the current environment of the OpenSolaris community, but also reflect some of the new guidelines that have been formed http://opensolaris.org/os/project/website/content/web_best_practices.pdf I'd be interested in working on this under the website project, so we could get a draft that we could then discuss with our membership.
