I installed SSE in the /opt directory with no problems at all, and as long as
I'm SU, I can set the environment variables and execute SSE just fine. However,
the environment variables are not persistent, and any attempt to run SSE under
my normal user account in the staff group fail due to permissions.
1) How do I permanently set environment variables such as PATH and MANPATH?
2) How do I run SSE under a role other than root?
2.a) How do I give a User the necessary rights to run SSE?
2.b) How do I give a Group the necessary rights to run SSE?
3) How are Users, Roles, and Groups related, as I largely fail to see the
necessity of having both Roles and Groups?
At the very least please point me in the right direction. I'm an RTFM kinda
guy. I just need the right manual.
