I don't know why there were no updates since August.  But as a general
rule, OpenGrok does not deal well with rollbacks or repository
recreation, at least for Mercurial repositories.  

This is because OpenGrok pulls its own child of the repository.  Rolling
back or recreating the repo breaks future pulls, and OpenGrok doesn't
know how to recover.  So OpenGrok stops updates for that repo and manual
intervention is required.
