Hi all,
Thanks again to those of you who joined the concall this morning and
provided information, data, and questions about the move to XWiki. I
appreciate your time to attend and test your pages. Here is a summary of
the questions and answers, let me know if I missed anything.
(Apologies to anyone who tried to join the call late, we had to change
the concall number at 9:15 because there was an echo on the line.)

0. Another call was requested to discuss just the issues with migration.
(Derek agreed to set this up)
1. Will unhidden child pages of hidden parent pages be preserved? (Derek
and Michelle weren't sure of this answer)
2. Can we have the source for the migration script? (Michelle took an AI
to ask for this, but said we had not planned to provide it--folks have
valid HTML that is not migrating well, so that is why they want the
source for the script)
3. When is the weekly deadline to update source on opensolaris.org in
order to make it into the next migration? (Michelle suggested Friday,
but folks want to know what is that last possible time)
4. Can we have nightly migrations? (three people said they'd prefer
nightly, so they can see if their changes worked, they are fine with 2
hours of no content on hub each day if they can see their changes sooner.)
5. Can we have more detail on what happens between Aug 31st and Sept.
14th? Will there be content freeze? When will it freeze? For how long
will it last? (Michelle agreed to provide more detail about this)
6. Will there be a copy of the old site available after Sept. 14th?
(Bonnie said that the copy can stay on stage.opensolaris.org)
7. Where will hub reside after Sept. 14th? Will it become
opensolaris.org? (Bonnie said we're still figuring it out.)
8. There is a concern that this migration prep will be ignored because
of tight schedules for other projects.
9. Does XWiki have a text editing option? (yes; if you edit a page and
click the Wiki tab above the content pane, it will change to plain text
view.)
10. How will redirects be managed? (Derek said that we are examining
additional data to determine what the trade-offs are and will hopefully
provide a solution that will accommodate the majority of cases in a
reasonable way.)
