"These features have all been removed as separate functions with the
move to XWiki. If a Project or Community owner wants to add an
announcement, blog, news or events entry they will need to create a new
page and manage that as they would any other page in their space. Note
that any content contained in the following page types WILL NOT be
brought over in the transition, with the exception of the Files page
content."
oh. I must have overlooked the "not" word. Wishful thinking, I guess.
So I guess we need to copy/paste the existing Events and Announcements into
individual pages so the mechanism can kick in and migrate them over to XWiki.
Can't this be automated? I'm sure we're not the only ones with
Event/Announcement content that we want to bring over?
