I fully agree with your statement. There are reasons we started exploring the Drupal solution so early, however it is clear that we need to look at what we have now in order to complete the simple product marketing part of the site. The 'rush' to get an initial code base and stable release has been much faster than any of us expected. We need to keep up and meet our responsibilities.
