Sorry, I don't understand you. First you write that you cannot revert, as there are new edits you want to preserve, and then you ask to reset it to a prior date? This is a contradiciton... Why don't you just use the pages history to go to a page that still has the info that was lost, and just copy&paste the info into the current page?
