I will add that it's not the first time I restart the computer (obviously) and normally when firefox reopens the tabs the site works OK, so it might be a combination of the update and the restart.
thanks for letting me know! That then might be a bug in Firefox. I'll keep that in mind and ask other posters if they experience similar problems when rebooting - might be the culprit. :)
